WHAT TO DO IN FOLKESTONE

Whilst staying in Folkestone you must pay a visit to The "Rotunda". This is a traditional seaside fun park with log fumes, dodgems, crazy golf, a Helter Skelter and of course a fun park wouldn't be the same without a GHOST TRAIN !!!.

There are also Bowling greens for the people who want a more calmer time.

After all that fun you will have built up an appetite. Take the Victorian Leas Cliff Lift up to the Promenade where there is a fine selection of restaurants, cafes, bistros and pubs to satisfy any gastronomic rumbling. Or for those people on the move there are various fast food outlets such as MacDonalds, KFC etc.

Whilst waiting for your food to digest before starting having fun again, have a stroll along the cliff top and take in the sights and smells of the fabulous flowers. You could also meander around the Metropole Arts Centre.

For market lovers there is a market every Sunday on the Harbour, or visit the monthly French market in Sandgate Road. This is held on the last Thursday of every month and we recommend you take the time to stroll around and sample the wonderful atmosphere.

The Leas Cliff Hall holds live entertainment all year round. For a full list of entertainment ask at reception or contact the hall itself.

Whatever you decide to do we are sure you will have a great time.
